I recently bumped into an online course offered by Caleb O’Dowd called High Profit Facebook Groups. After some research, I’m gonna share my findings and my opinion with you.
How did I get to know High Profit Facebook Groups?
At first, I have to explain how I got to this “opportunity”. As a follower of one very successful YouTube influencer, I received an e-mail with a claim “This is the easiest way to get rich online in 2019”. It was an invitation to a live webinar where Jake (the influencer) and Caleb were supposed to present this opportunity.
Name: High Profit Facebook Groups
Owner: Caleb O’Dowd
Purpose: claims to teach you how to make $10,000+ a month online
What did I see in the webinar
First of all, it was not a live webinar but a pre-recorded audio. Jake was there only in the beginning and then Caleb started his “show”. Honestly, I’ve always wondered how can someone talk about something without saying anything concrete. Just blah blah blah about how everyone can do this. Well, if someone says this, I’m suspicious. Yeah, opportunities are open for everyone but we all have different backgrounds, different number of friends and different skills.
Practically all of the so-called webinar was repeating you can earn up to $10,000 a month and all Caleb’s friends and his family members do this as well. A bit suspicious, isn’t it? But let’s dig into it a bit more.
What is High Profit Facebook Groups about
What is actually this program about? High Profit Facebook Groups program is a course supposed to show you how to build up a big following on a Facebook group that you create from scratch. And then how you can make money from it.
The price of this course is $1,997. Assuming that most of the people who are interested in earning money online are people who don’t have huge amounts to waste, I find this way too much. There are other programs that are much cheaper or free if you want to learn how to make money with affiliate marketing from scratch.
What happened after the “webinar”
So I just left the webinar. But then, the days afterwards I kept receiving e-mails saying how limited this offer was. This tactics is very common, first at the end of such webinars and then in the follow-up e-mails. It’s supposed to make you feel you have the last chance to buy something valuable. If you are not aware it’s only a trick because there actually is no limitation to that offer, you are in.
Just have to say, I really don’t like criticizing other people. I know that no one is perfect, neither am I. But I do listen to my intuition and the feeling I’ve got if I see or hear someone. That’s why I wanted to see what kind of person the speaker i.e. owner of program was.
I’m so glad that nowadays it’s possible to look almost everybody up.
On my quest, I found this Caleb O’Dowd on youtube. I didn’t have a feeling he was an honest person who cares about anything else than just money. I mean, there’s nothing wrong about money but intentions are also important, at least for me. This is just a clever businessman, knows the tactics that work and sends e-mails that bring him sales. I’ve seen that before. And I don’t like that.
To give you an idea of this man, I’m sharing one of the videos I found on youtube:
It may work but not as quick as they make you feel
To make it clear: I am not saying that his program doesn’t work. I know from my own experience you can set up a fan page i.e. a Facebook group and you can succeed. But you should be well aware that it will take time and effort, a lot of effort! Nothing like that they tell you in the webinar. It is not so easy and quick.
To sum it up, I’m glad I was able to recognise the tricks Caleb used in this presentation. I’ve seen so many programs and courses and webinars that I’m a bit sick of these tricks. I mean, if you have a business, it’s obvious you want to sell your products but this is just based on pure manipulation. I know there are some people out there who succeed with these tactics. But if it was me, I wouldn’t be happy earning money this way.
I’ve been in the online world for years just looking for opportunities and there are some. I love opportunities. But the real ones. Opportunities where you have time to check it out, consider whether you are or aren’t able to achieve what they promise to you and make your decision without being pushed.
As to Jake, the youtuber I mentioned above, he really is a nice guy and I just hope his intentions are good. If it was me, I wouldn’t like to have my name connected with a program like High Profit Facebook Groups. But that’s just me.
So is this program a scam?
And as to the question whether this program is a scam or not, I wouldn’t say it is a scam I think it’s not right to claim that building a high profit facebook group is easy and quick. In fact, I don’t believe any of the promises Caleb gives. Also, it’s way too much to charge $1,997 for something like that. There is another program I can recommend that is 100% legitimate and you can read about it here: FREE platform where you can build-up your income step by step..
If you have any questions or experience with this program, leave a comment down below, I would love to know your story.
